What if the goal wasn’t a perfect walk — but a dog who can actually think around distractions?

Stress-free walks aren’t built by micromanaging your dog or asking for constant compliance. I mean, I don’t think that’s what you dreamed of when you imagined having a dog.
But it’s the only advice available, so here you are.

It doesn’t have to stay that way.

Stressf-free walks are built by:

  • teaching dogs how to disengage from distractions so that they can engage and focus with their human

  • helping them de-escalate their arousal after intense moments of cats running, balls bouncing, other dogs barking, or cyclists passing.

  • supporting their nervous system so they can stay in their body, access their thinking-brain and respond to you instead of react at distractions.

That’s what we’re going to break down together in this live training.

In this free live training, you’ll learn:

  • Why practicing the wrong way reinforces stress

  • How to recognize when your dog stops thinking and is closer to reacting

  • The 3 simple shifts that make distractions manageable

  • How everyday walks become predictable progress

  • Without special collars, leash pops, or correcting your dog

  • Without forcing calm or suppressing emotions

  • Using simple, easy strategies that support focus and regulation

This training is for you if:

  • Your dog can focus — just not consistently outside

  • Walks feel unpredictable or emotionally draining

  • You want training that respects your dog’s emotions

  • You’re tired of advice that sounds good but doesn’t work in real life

This is not about teaching a perfect heel or robotic obedience — it’s about helping dogs exist comfortably in the real world.

Hi, I’m Samaya (rhymes with papaya)

The Goldendoodle you see in these photos is my boy, Mr. Vince.

When he was a puppy, he was the worst of both worlds on walks.
He’d pull hard as we left the condo and the park…
then stall and lag on the way home.

It was exhausting and frustrating — especially because all the advice I could find sounded like this:

  • “Stop walking when he pulls.”

  • “Just treat him at your side.”

Stopping when he pulled only taught him to… stop walking.
And treating at my side didn’t change anything because he had zero interest in food.

What Vince didn’t need was more obedience drills.
He needed skills — skills to stay regulated, connected, and thinking during the walk itself.

That’s the work I do now, and it’s exactly what this training is about.

You’ll leave this training with:

  • clarity about why walks feel hard right now and why what you’ve been trying hasn’t been working

  • a clear direction for what to work on next

  • and options for continued support if you want it

There’s no pressure — just actionable steps, coaching, and a chance to ask questions.
